Meet the team

Hey! I'm Lewis, this years Sexpression:UK National Director. I'm a 3rd year Adult and Mental Health Nursing student at the University of Leicester. I've been a member of Sexpression since I started university, taking on multiple roles in my branch committee prior to joining the national committee as the 2021/22 Externals and Press Director. I have a real passion for providing inclusive and comprehensive sex education to ensure no young person feels left out due to the way they may feel or identify. Through my time with Sexpression, I have worked closely with organisations to improve services, access to contraception and education opportunities for young people and university students. I am thrilled to take on this role and aim to continue devising and deliver a new forward thinking strategy plan alongside our strategy planning group. I will also work closely with the national committee, trustees and most importantly our volunteers on the ground to ensure transparency in our unique organisation and that everyone enjoys their time with Sexpression:UK.

Hi everyone! My name is Maxime, and I use she/her pronouns. When I am not busy studying psychology, I enjoy working as a Support Worker, and volunteering for Sexpression. As well as going into schools to teach comprehensive RSE, I was the Schools Co-ordinator for my local branch last year, and became the designated Sexpression FGM curriculum researcher for England. I look forward to representing Sexpression as this year’s Finance Director!

Hey there, I’m Greysen (they/them). I am currently a postgraduate student at the University of St Andrews pursuing a degree in Medieval Studies and I’m so excited to be joining the National Committee as your Communications Director. My interest in RSE has steadily grown since my teenage years and has led me to spend the last two years of my undergraduate degree as a member of the St Andrews branch of Sexpression, continuing on into postgrad as the branch’s Wellbeing Officer. I’m stoked to help on the communications and social media side of things this year and aim to bring more focus to diversity and wellbeing in RSE.

Hi I’m Claire! I’m a final year English and Modern History student at the University of St. Andrews and I’m so excited to join national committee as advocacy director this year! Originally from Boston, MA, I became passionate about RSE in my first year living in the UK when I started volunteering for Sexpression St Andrews branch. Since then, I have been on the St Andrews committee for the past two years. During my time at university I’ve become passionate about student advocacy and led campaigns to combat student housing crises and the multibillion dollar border control industry. I’m thrilled to lead Sexpression’s advocacy work this year and look forward to incorporating all branches in creating advocacy projects that uplift the relationships and sex education of young people.
