Meet the team

Hey! I'm Jack and I'm the current National Director of Sexpression:UK. I am a Law Master's student and have held a range of roles within Sexpression, including as Externals and Press Director on national committee and as the branch coordinator for Lancaster. I joined Sexpression because I believe passionately in inclusive education that empowers people to make safe, informed and consensual decisions. My role this year involves overseeing the charity as a whole, leading the national committee to implement our goals and reporting to the trustee board on the charity's performance. Outside of Sexpression, I was the runner-up for the LGBTQ+ Undergraduate of the Year 2023, a finalist for the Queer Student Awards in the same year, and am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Hello! My name is Megan and I am a computer science student at the University of Leeds. I am extremely excited to be Branches Director this year, and hope that our branches have a fabulous year! I am heading into my 4th year with the Leeds branch and I cannot wait to see what we can achieve over the next year!

Hello! My name is Vidyut and I’m this year’s Externals and Press Director. I am a 3rd year medical student at the University of Aberdeen, and I have been involved with Aberdeen branch for 2 years now. I am extremely excited to be on National Committee this year! In my free time I often take to my sketchbook to draw portraits or my piano to play some tunes. Hi! I’m Cate (they/them), a 4th year medical student based at Imperial College, but currently taking a year out to complete an intercalated degree in Anthroplogy and Sociology at Edinburgh university. I’ve been part of Sexpression since I was a fresher and had the privilege of being Imperial’s Child Protection Officer in 2021-22 and Chair last year. This year I’m very excited to be part of the National Committee as Monitoring and Evaluation director, as well as staying linked in at branch level as Imperial’s School Liaison and hopefully volunteering at Edinburgh. I’ll be your point of call for everything feedback- and data-protection-related - please do get in touch with thoughts and queries. I’m really looking forward to supporting branches with data collection, sharing Sexpression’s achievements widely and making sure we have a fabulous and data-driven year!

Hi everyone! I’m Cat, the National Training Director this year. I am also the Branch Coordinator and Training Coordinator at Sexpression Leeds (I like to keep busy!) Please contact me with any and all training and Relationships and Sex Education queries; I’m more than happy to help find the answers you’re looking for. When not doing work with Sexpression or studying, I spend a lot of my time crafting and reading and I’m always happy to do these things with others, especially if there is tea involved. I really hope that this year, in my role, I can help Sexpression UK continue on with its mission of providing accessible, inclusive and well rounded RSE.

Hello! My name is Chiara (she/her) and I’m a Medical Student at Imperial College London. This year I’m doing an Intercalated Bachelors in Gastroenterology & Hepatology (everything to do with your intestines). I joined the Imperial Branch of Sexpression last year as an Events Officer and had an incredible time organising events at a Branch level. I am so excited to join Sexpression National and look forward to working with everyone else on the team to keep up our fantastic work!

Hi, I’m Shoumita (she/her) and I am your Campaigns Director for Sexpression UK this year. I’ve finished 4th year of Medicine at the University of Aberdeen and I will be intercalating this year. In previous years for my branch, I’ve held the role of Training Officer and Child Protection Officer and I am the current branch coordinator this year. I am very excited to be coming up with some national campaigns for next year with the rest of the committee and support branches across the country with local event ideas. Sexpression is an amazing charity with so much potential to achieve some incredible campaigning!
